If the LEN you are assigning the station to is a DLC card it is a digital (Dterm) port. 4LCD-A card is a 4 port analog card. 8LCAA is an 8 port analog card.

4DLCQ is 4 port digital card. 8DLCP is an 8 port digital line card. Also MATorx 32 IPS would not alow this type of station swap as it checks the station types before execution. Another reason to stay away from the memory hog MATworx Studio.
